Let go near a pose and it clicks in, like the real detent.

Hinge

Leaf A (1 dimple) Leaf B, with spring arms (2 dimples) Steel plate on each case 10×3 mm magnets, 2 mm steel pin

How it locks: at each end of the hinge, a spring arm on leaf B rides a notched ring on leaf A. It clicks into a notch at DS, Flat, Tent and Portal. A stop lug holds DS at exactly 30° so it can't over-tilt, and the leaf magnets snap Portal shut. Every pose was collision-checked with cases from 66 to 82 mm wide and 9 to 16 mm thick.
